Safe Floors FloorBrief™
Resident Assessments & Installation Appointments
FloorBrief™ helps councils, housing associations and contractors prepare for authorised flooring works. Residents share their room measurements, photographs, floor-base details and colour choices securely. Once a visit is arranged, PW sends a linked installation appointment with the agreed time window and the attending team’s photo ID cards.

- Measurements, floor-base details and up to six photographs per room
- Approved flooring ranges and colour choices
- Property, repair and work-order references

This service is available to councils, housing associations, property-management organisations and main contractors seeking reliable specialist flooring support.
Our housing installation work
Communal flooring replacement — housing association
This completed installation demonstrates our flooring work for housing clients. It was not a FloorBrief™ assessment.
Carried out by PW Flooring & Maintenance Services on behalf of Wates Living Space. Works included removal of the existing flooring, preparation with latex smoothing compound, and installation of Polyflor Polysafe Standard in Silver Birch.

Clear professional guidance
Built around authorised housing works
Once a housing client or its appointed main contractor has instructed us, PW Flooring & Maintenance Services can issue the resident or tenant with a unique access code matched to their email address or telephone number. The invitation specifies the authorised rooms. Residents complete those rooms together, with separate measurements, flooring details and up to six photographs for each room.
After reviewing the assessment, PW follows up on any information needed and arranges the visit. A separate private installation link then shows the agreed date, AM (8am–1pm), PM (1pm–5pm) or all-day (8am–5pm) appointment window, visit notes and the assigned team’s photo ID cards. It remains linked to the original assessment. Residents can call Paul on 07949 023424 for amendments or questions.
Any work remains subject to the instructing organisation's approval. Completing the assessment does not book an installation, create a private quotation or allow a resident or tenant to authorise work on behalf of a council, housing association, property manager or appointed main contractor.
The assessment form is available in several languages to reduce communication barriers while preserving English manufacturer colour names for accurate ordering. Residents can select Wood, Concrete or Not sure for each room’s floor base. If the submitted information is not sufficient, we can arrange the appropriate follow-up with the housing client.
